The head is a bezel and tab set malachite and …reaching for low hanging fruit, I chose a beautiful cushion cut faceted garnet for the nose. (inspired by another famous red nosed deer) The brooch is worn using the handmade sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel mechanism. The piece is signed, hallmarked, dated 2024 and measures approximately 4” from top of antler to bottom of garnet drop and 3” across at widest.
