This main element supports a brass bezel set approximately 520 million year old Trilobite fossil. Trilobite’s were small sea arthropods that filled the world’s oceans during the Cambrian Period. This lightweight brooch measures approximately 3.5×2.25” and is signed, hallmarked and dated 2024. The brooch is worn using the handmade sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel mechanism and while the brooch does not have a dedicated bale there are a few areas that can accommodate cord or a small chain.
