One of a kind “Exploration” is completely hand fabricated from sterling silver, brass and bronze. The main body of the piece is hollow formed and very lightweight. The body is wire wrapped in two spots with 22 gauge bronze wire and decorated with three raised “dots” and a cluster of pierced holes. The main body supports a bezel and tab set Baltic Amber cabochon and a found and gathered (by a personal friend) South African porcupine quill. The brooch is worn using the handmade sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel mechanism and as a pendant using the integrated hidden bale.
