Two layers of pierced and hammered copper are each hammer raised into concave forms and riveted together with 24 equally spaced copper rivets. The piece is patinated a rich red/brown and finished with a museum wax coating. The piece is worn as a brooch using the handmade sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel mechanism and worn as a pendant using the integrated hidden bale.
