An angular bezel element is set with a “tail” of corrugated brass, a row of “teeth” and a bezel set antique brown glass doll’s eye. The backplate of the bezel is textured and patinated dark while the patina at the top edge of the bezel is removed. The brooch is worn using the handmade sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel mechanism and the piece measures approximately 3.25×1.75”. Signed, hallmarked and dated 2024.
