My career is littered with attempts to sculpt a raven’s skull, raising it from flat sheet metal into a three dimensional form. Until now this has not been successful, but all the experience and knowledge gained from those attempts lead me to here. The skull and flowers are sterling silver and the back plate is copper. The raven measures approximately 4×2” and is worn as a brooch using the handmade sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel mechanism and as a pendant using the integrated hidden bale.
