A hand fabricated fused sterling silver textural heart form is pierced with a hollow and fold formed spiculum which terminates with a sterling silver caged Herkimer Diamond. The heart has a single 4mm tube set faceted Rhodolite garnet set near the piercing. The brooch is worn using the hand made sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel mechanism and the measurements are approximately: 4.25”… overall length of the brass spiculum and the heart measures 1.75” across.
