The tail is a bezel and prong set found seashell fragment and the body is of forged sterling silver and 8 post set black fresh water pearls. The piece is finished with a patina and is worn as a brooch using the handmade sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel mechanism and as a pendant using the integrated hidden bale.
