An abstract grid is the basis for this composition. The grid supports 3 bezels and a wire in its seperate quadrants that together they form an abstract heart design. The caged section has a small door on the reverse and can be filled with a myriad of things. Beads, candy, love notes…you get the point. The piece is finished with a dark patina and the brooch is worn using the handmade sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel mechanism and although the brooch doesn’t have a dedicated bale, it can be worn as a pendant using the top quadrant to feed chain or cord through as pictured.
