When I was a kid I heard the phrase “stiff upper lip” often. Typically it was a “get ready for it” warning that something that I wasn’t going to like was coming down the pike. I don’t hear that saying anymore from the younger parents in my family and wonder what sayings their kids will remember from childhood. “Stiff Upper Lip” is created from textural fused and reticulated sterling silver and brass with a bezel and tab set antique doll’s eye. The brooch is worn using the handmade sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel mechanism and the pendant is worn using the integrated hidden bale.
